For curving solid wood or multilayer wood or for other applications, Steton has made special presses for these specific operations which allow to insert the necessary moulds between the machine plates.
Some models can be fitted with side cylinders for curving the pieces.
Typical uses are the curving of multilayer wood (e.g. for making chair backs and seat) or the bending of beech wood for making chairs. On request, an appliance for the preliminary humidifications of wood can be supplied.
